Storm Waters Ruin a Wooden Floor in Oakville
The groundwater from the storm was only about one inch high. It absorbed into the false wall as seen by the markings on the floor. We removed the damage and suctioned out the standing water to lessen the on-going water damage. Our SERVPRO technicians followed the request of the landlord and we then removed the wood slats since he decided for a new surface. We placed air movers and dehumidifiers to extract remaining moisture from the concrete pad over a three day period; we verified the moisture level of this surface before we gave the okay for a new floor to be installed. We aim to satisfy our customers. Our structural drying team member's effort ensured a successful conclusion to this storm damage.
